OVER 60’s CLASS


 

This class is designed for people with osteoporosis, arthritis and other joint and mobility issues and for those who find a general Pilates or fitness class just a little bit too demanding. Exercises are done standing, seated on a chair, and if ability allows, on a mat. Small equipment such as hand weights, flex bands and fitness circles may be used to help strengthen muscles and bones whilst wobble cushions may be used to improve balance and core strength. All exercises can be modified and adapted to enable everyone to work to the best of their ability. This is a fun and friendly class with more emphasis on enjoying ourselves than breaking out into a sweat!

This class runs as a course on Thursdays at 10.30am in Kibworth.
